Holiday Hero: Our Managing Director Steps in as Santa for School Festivities

This week something magical happened at a local primary school that reminds us of the true spirit of Christmas. When the school’s plans for Santa’s visit fell through, leaving 450 excited little ones potentially disappointed, a hero in a red suit and white beard (spoiler: our very own Managing Director!) stepped in to save the day.

A Call for Help

The festive season at Hangleton Primary School in Brighton and Hove, was in full swing, with decorations lining the halls and the sweet sound of carols filling the air. But behind the scenes, a crisis was unfolding. Their usual Santa had to cancel at the last minute, and despite a heartfelt plea to all parents through the school communications, and with a week left to go, no replacement Santa was in sight.

That’s when the holiday magic began. One of our team members, a parent at the school, shared the predicament with us. Our Managing Director – Tim Cripps, known for his love for community and a heart as big as his smile, didn’t think twice. He decided to don the iconic red suit and become Santa for a day.

A Day of Joy and Laughter

On the morning of the event, our MD, in his Santa outfit, was a sight to behold. With a twinkle in his eye and a jolly “Ho Ho Ho,” he transformed into the beloved Christmas icon. As he entered the school, the air buzzed with excitement. The children’s faces lit up with joy and laughter as they each got their turn to sit with Santa, share their wishes, and receive a small gift.

It wasn’t just about the gifts; it was the time he took to listen to each child, the way he made them laugh, and the sheer joy he brought to the school that made the day so special. Tim’s embodiment of Santa brought not just presents, but a presence of warmth, kindness, and the enchanting spirit of Christmas.
