Trustco’s Chosen Christmas Charities for 2024

The holiday season is here, and with it comes Trustco’s cherished tradition of giving back to our local community in Sussex. Each year, we select two charities close to our hearts, driven by the passions and experiences of our team. This year, our support goes to two outstanding organisations: Martlets Hospice and St Barnabas Hospice, both of which play an essential role in providing compassionate care to those in need across East and West Sussex.

Why These Charities?

These donations hold profound personal significance for our team. Many of us have experienced firsthand the incredible care and support these hospices provide to patients and their families during difficult times. They embody kindness, dedication, and the spirit of community that inspires us all, especially during the holiday season.

Festive Giving in Action

As part of our festive outreach, we saw our very own Commander Tim Cripps don the iconic Santa suit to bring cheer to the Shoreham Beach Primary School Winter Fair in West Sussex. By hosting a magical Santa’s Grotto, Tim not only delighted children and families but also helped raise vital funds for the school. Trustco proudly matched these donations, doubling the impact of the event. It’s a wonderful reminder of how small, heartfelt actions can create ripples of positivity within our community.
